Fred's Bed Quilt from Wife's Clothes

Like magic, I turned Godelieve's beautiful African clothing into bed quilts for Fred and for all three of his children.  Fred loves frogs so I apliqued frogs, frogs and more frogs on Fred's quilt. I even incorporated a frog alphabet I found on the internet to spell his name down the center of his quilt.  It was a pleasure designing this quilt and the others I did for Fred's family, knowing that they would be comforted by the beauty and touch of their Mom's fabric, the closest thing we could get to the feel of her arms hugging them and the reflection of her Spirit's embrace.
